When trying to use a 'trigger on update' for a Dynamic Choice field, that actually changes the chosen value, the trigger runs twice. I was under the impression that sensibly a trigger is NOT activated when a field value is changed programmatically, only when the interface registers a change to the field. In which case, changing the choice of a Dynamic Choice field should NOT run the trigger a seco

I would like to include a reference of another table into my current one.
For example, I want a user to be able to delete an invoice within a stipulated date of creation, but after a certain number of days has passed, he or she can no longer delete, but only the admin can do so.
create a delete if, because some user may want to delete stuff from a table, but restricted due to a maybe a certain date has passed.
Thanks, Dan. That's useful to know. I'll look into accessing the endpoint directly, as you suggest. Many Thanks
It's not possible as this is a feature of sendgrid, the transactional email provider that Ninox use. It is possible to make these links "invisible" by sending the message as HTML, eg using "<a href=""" + yourURL + """>" + yourURL + "</a>" rather than plain text, but this likely won't help the email parser for the SMS sending service. The most reliable approach would be to call the SMS gateways end
Hi Does anyone know if there is a way to stop Ninox rewriting URLs in the body of an email message sent through the sendEmail function? Whenever a URL that starts with http: or https: is sent through Ninox, Ninox rewrites it as a http://links.ninoxdb.de/... URL. (Unfortunately, for my usage I can't remove the http/https) I'm using the email function as a gateway into a SMS message service and the
Both work a treat !!! :-)
Jesús IT's unusual for sopprt not to get back to you. I should email them agina. They will be able to change over your primary that is linked to he account. I have done this before. Ensure you akeep a backup just before the change over tho.
the issue was resolved by changing the partner's browser setting. The partner changed the display of MM / DD / YYYY to English DD/MM/YYY and everything worked Thank you all for your help
E-mail sent on Wednesday with no reply, so far. I will explain the problem more in detail just in case someone in the community knows the answer: I started working with NINOX with a personal e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org), but after upgrading, I need this sing-in address to be the professional one (email@example.com). The reason is that I need to send professional emails from my databases, and I’v
As ever thanks - Chaps I will try both methods interesting area this.. John - It is also interesting to note that either activateing 'Index' in a field makes no differ to performance either. Yet indexing supposed to tokenise the data.
Hello Alain! I did not think that "Update multiple records…" will work that way - very useful to know!!! Your db is very helpful, and the tabular view is cool - we can see in a glance what treatments are due in general. Very helpful! Dear Alain - thank you very much again!!!! You are a very good teacher!!!
When doing something once, finding the optimal solution is not indispensable. Nevetheless, you could have saved yourself some work by: opening the "Treatments" table, select "Update multiple records…" in the "Gear" menu, choose "Assign calculated value" for the "Days" field, and enter "Treatmentlist.Name" as the formula. Once in a while, Ninox can really be almost "nocode" :-). In the meantime, ju
Just my two cents, I would encourage the use of relationships(i.e. John's method) instead of select (not saying Steven is wrong as he is just giving an example). As we know if you have too many (which Ninox can't say what that number is) select statement they slow down your database. From personal experience, I have a sports league database, I quickly ran into this issue trying to create my dashbo
Alain, hello! Sorry for late reply, i was seek several days. Many thanks for your last solution, it works very well!!! And again, special thanks for such an explanation!! For this solution to work every already finished treatment had to have days field filled by the value from TreatmentList. So i made a button with this code to fill that field: for oneRec in select 'TreatmentList' do for manyRec i
I am attempting to do this and am not familiar with a dynamic lookup.. any hints or examples would be appreciated. Even with left open characters would be very helpful compared to opening another screen..
