Creating formula in Ninox for Ipad

How do you write the formula for the following :-

If the length of field 1 is greater than "x" then the contents of field 2 equals "1" else the contents of field 2 equal "2".

assume field 1 is alphanumeric and field 2 is numeric

    What do you mean with length? The length of the string? What do you want to achive?
