Hiding fields

I'm working on a form and I need to hide some calculation fields.  I understand how to hide a field in table view, but can't figure out how on a form.  Any help?

     Display field only, if: null

    your field would then be hidden....

    When you hide  a field from a user it is still displayed in table view for the user though the user cannot see the data the field. is there a way u can hide the field in table view from the user without having to hide it on the main admin table view?
