How do I lock-out other users when a record is being edited?

Can I lock-out others at the level of the field / data element, and allow multiple users to edit different "fields" or data elements of the same record ?.

    Hmmm.... I guess you would have to code your own lookup .. and place the userID of the person editing the row on the row ..and then do a writeable if.. scenario .. 

     

    Out Of the Box.. I do not know if  you can do it.. 

     

    I believe Ninox does a "last in wins" .. Let's see other replies..

    Multiple users can edit the same record at the same time. If changes are made to different fields there should be no conflict. If users edit the same field (in the same record) the last entry wins.
