At large sports stadiums, there is always something to check, adapt, convert, or expand. The individual projects are specialised and can't be mapped with common project management tools. The planners at Companeer tried Access and Filemaker, but were only happy with Ninox.
Companeer GmbH is an engineering firm specialising in stadium consulting. With around 20 employees, the company supports football stadium operators in the planning and implementation of efficiency-enhancing measures. For example, Companeer assisted three venues in their applications to host the 2024 European Football Championship. Bayern Munich and its Allianz Arena are among its clients.
Individual projects with a high organisational effort
Capacity expansion, traffic and escape route planning, warranty management - every Companeer project is different and requires new approaches and data models. That's why for a long time they worked with solutions based on Access, then Filemaker, which could only be used online and to a limited extent on mobile. In addition, the learning curve proved to be very steep, so the development work rested almost entirely on the shoulders of Thomas Albinger, one of the managing directors. That's why he was looking for an alternative that would allow the employees to create their own solutions for their projects. Through a tip from an employee, he came across Ninox.

Employees develop their own solution
Companeer started a test phase with five employees. And indeed, positive effects became apparent very soon. With Ninox, not only did Thomas Albinger need significantly less time to create his databases, but the employees had also quickly familiarised themselves with Ninox and began to develop individual solutions for their project teams. This's why Companeer does not have just one database, but rather several different ones related to the respective projects. For example, in the context of warranty management, construction defects are documented in detail with Ninox, from the recording to the description and responsibilities to the end solution. Contracts, costs, and deadlines of the projects are also kept under control with Ninox.
The biggest advantage of Ninox for Companeer is that the employees themselves are now able to easily develop solutions that are precisely tailored to the requirements of the very different projects. Lengthy learning and development processes are a thing of the past. Dependence on a technically skilled person is eliminated and project management has become much more efficient. Another plus point: the solutions created can be used immediately by all team members without any additional effort, even in the home office and on mobile devices. All this has completely convinced Companeer. The cloud licence will be extended to all 20 workstations. In addition to the employees' individual PM solutions, general business processes will also be mapped with Ninox in the future.
