For almost 30 years, Valeres Industriebau GmbH has been realizing move-in ready commercial properties as a general contractor, from car dealerships to warehouses and production halls. Its clients are companies from all over Germany. The team of around 20 architects, planners, structural engineers, construction managers and
accountants offers its customers a comprehensive, worry-free package from the initial consultation to the handover of the keys.


Digitization? Yes, but according to our own ideas

Innovation requires a willingness to change. At Valeres, it was a site manager who questioned the existing workflows with Excel, Word and paper documents. However, the management did not want a ready-made, inflexible industry software, but an individual, smart solution that could be adapted to the team's well-rehearsed processes and gradually integrated into the daily work routine. The first use case in Ninox was the listing of deficiencies and their elimination, as well as corresponding documentation. Initial skepticism soon gave way to the conviction that they had found the ideal tool for digitalizing business processes.

With Ninox, we didn't have to make any compromises. Our solution is more comprehensive than we thought it was possible—and we continue to develop.

Step by step to the customized solution

Together with Ninox's construction industry-focused external partner called “Digital vereinfacht” a wish list was created as a starting point. At the top: A reliable master data management for customers, partners, projects and employees. Once this was realized to the satisfaction of all involved, task planning, various checklists, cost overviews, deficiency documentation and fleet management gradually followed. Feedback from employees was taken into account at every step. The result was a comprehensive solution that is precisely tailored to Valeres’ processes and can be used anywhere, in the office, at home, and with mobile devices even on the construction site. And the knowledge of the possibilities gives rise to new ideas for enhancements every day.

Through Ninox, a coherent workflow has been created, starting from the inquiry and acquisition, to the planning and construction management. Every site manager uses
Ninox intuitively, so that every deficiency and every acceptance on the construction site is created in Ninox and the finished report is also generated there. The site
manager sits down in his car and from now on does not need to worry about processing a report. Furthermore, the internal e-mail traffic has decreased, because
the internal task assignment runs in the developed task management of Ninox. Thus, there is more structure throughout the company and there is no duplication of work.
