Swiss HelpDogs e. V. is an independent Swiss specialist organization for assistance dogs. Originally created as an interest group, Swiss HelpDogs was converted into an association in 2015 and recognized as a non-profit organization. In addition to public relations, the focus of activity is on creating and maintaining high quality standards in the private training of assistance dogs.
Challenge
Diverse tasks require a great deal of time
Whether it's education, education and training or personal advice: The voluntary work of the members has made Swiss HelpDogs an important point of contact in Switzerland for all questions about assistance dogs. As an additional source of income, the association also operates a small factory with an online shop for work and identification accessories.
Suitable software was needed to handle the various tasks more efficiently. However, current club solutions proved to be too inflexible or too expensive. That's why they decided to develop their own solution with Ninox.

At Swiss HelpDogs, Ninox has replaced various software tools that had previously been used selectively for various tasks. With the solution, members and contribution payments are managed, emails are sent, donation accounts are maintained and certificates of financial contributions are issued. Registrations for events and the manufacturer's products for rental and sale are also managed with Ninox.
In addition, a knowledge database was created for quick access to current information on the subject of training and keeping assistance dogs. Connections to the online shop and social media platforms as well as the integration of contact forms on the association's website are also planned for the near future.
