Pure Gruppe: Digital Transformation with Ninox
Ninox as a single point of truth: How the Pure Gruppe centralizes all information for their architecture projects
Customer profile
The 25-person team of PURE GRUPPE Architektengesellschaft mbH led by owners Mario Mirbach and Markus Semmelmann offers a comprehensive range of advice and services relating to construction projects.
With their digital expertise, they have set themselves the goal of implementing useful digital solutions to make planning and construction processes more efficient, safer, transparent and error-free. From feasibility study to construction handover, the architects work on three-dimensional digital building twin.
Challenge
Many stand-alone solutions
The Challenge for Pure was the variety of different software solutions for managing project information, contacts and tasks. This fragmentation led to a loss of information and made collaboration difficult. For example, important data such as telephone numbers and project details were scattered across various systems, making project handover and task management significantly difficult. A key problem was the inefficient management of logs and the unclear tracking of tasks and deficiencies.
For example, phone numbers and project details were sometimes stored in Archicad Graphisoft or Nova AVA, while fee offers and invoices were managed in Moco. In addition, tasks and communication protocols were often documented in other systems, much in Excel spreadsheets. This led to difficulties in finding important information, particularly when handing over the project. It was often unclear where certain data was stored, which led to delays and misunderstandings. Log keeping was particularly problematic as there was no central location where logs could be efficiently recorded and traced.
Solution
Ninox creates planning transparency and cost security.
Pure decided last year to introduce a central solution and use Ninox as a central knowledge platform. The decision was made after a thorough analysis and comparison of several solutions. The decisive factor was the flexibility and adaptability of Ninox, which made it possible to develop a tailor-made application that is precisely tailored to the needs of the office.
Markus Semmelmann: “We tried various solutions, including Microsoft Power Apps, but they were not suitable for our requirements. There aren't as many alternatives that are as flexible as Ninox.”
Today, Ninox is the central tool in Pure's everyday work — an all-in-one solution. It serves as a central knowledge database in which all important project details, contacts and tasks are collected and managed. Project participants have an overview of their current tasks and projects via a dashboard. This has significantly increased transparency and efficiency.
Benefits
Ninox is used in various areas, including project management, contact management, task and issue tracking. The benefits are manifold: increased efficiency, better traceability of tasks, central storage of information, and easy creation of logs and reports. The ability to manage and use information both digitally and analogously is particularly appreciated, which is of great importance in the architecture sector. For example, protocols can be generated as PDFs directly from Ninox and sent by email or printed out, which significantly simplifies documentation and distribution.
Another advantage is the seamless Ninox's ability to integrate into the existing IT landscape. As a result, architects can now access data from other systems via a button in Ninox.
Markus Semmelmann, managing partner of Pure, emphasizes: “It is of course great that Ninox is very open when it comes to interfaces and integrations. We used to have a colorful bouquet of systems, from CAD solutions to MS Office. Ninox is the perfect all-in-one solution for us. This gives us a reliable single point of truth.”
Pure would definitely recommend Ninox. The customizability and ease of use have made day-to-day work much easier and improved collaboration within the team. The Introduction of Ninox has proven to be a strategic decision that supports the company in its digital transformation.
